How to Add Inexpensive Decorative Updates to your Cottage or Trailer
Anyone else a fan of peel and stick wallpaper and backsplash tiles? If you haven’t tried them I understand you may be a little skeptical, I’ve been there! But trust me, I’ve become a fan of Roommates Decor products over the past year and a half and continue to use them over and over again!
We have wallpapered multiple spaces in two different homes and used their StickTILES three times now, the last two up north in our summer place.
Here’s a look at some of our peel and stick wallpaper projects:
Our first time using StickTILES was on our concrete electric fireplace at home. We transformed her and now she occupies our master bedroom and is absolutely stunning. You can read all about how we applied these tiles with some extra adhesive since they are on a fireplace by clicking here.
Earlier this summer we added a backsplash to our otherwise, boring cookie cutter bathroom and instantly transformed the space with the faux wood chevron StickTILES by Roommates Decor.
I love this pattern so naturally I was thrilled we had just enough left over to do a little update to our equally boring electric fireplace up north.
***it should be noted that these tiles should not be used near an open flame. Despite this being an electric fireplace we took the same measures we did when we used them on our other fireplace. All of the details can be found here.
At the end of the day using StickTILES or peel and stick wallpaper are an easy and affordable way to update any space, in our case, our summer getaway!
I’m already thinking ahead to next summer and adding some wallpaper to these walls!
