Let me Introduce Myself...

Hi I’m Michele and thanks for dropping by Our Uncluttered House!

I’m married to Alan (my DIY partner), mom to our two adult-ish boys, Connor and Thomas, and stepmom to James, full on adult! I’m also a dog mom so you must love dogs to be here.

I was diagnosed with MS in 2008 which was life changing. It forced me to give up a life long career that I loved and for the first time in my life I was a stay at home mom. The years that followed were full of ups and downs but finally lead me to a place where I believe I was meant to be and in 2018 Our Uncluttered House was born.

I love home decor and affordable and attainable DIYs. I love supporting other women who are also following their dreams or finding themselves on an unexpected path in life.

One thing is for sure, you will find real life at Our Uncluttered House, open and honest dialogue with some laughs along the way...and maybe even a recipe or two.
