Pretty in Pink - Ensuite Bathroom Renovation
We finally renovated the last bathroom in our home, our ensuite bathroom, that was totally equipped with builder grade finishes. And all I can say is, it turned out beautifully!
I often get asked how I formulate a design plan and I never have a true straight answer. But in this project, I can honestly say, it all started with some pretty pink tiles that I fell in love with and knew instantly, they needed to be paired with Champagne Bronze fixtures from Delta Faucet.
MY ORIGINAL VISION
Once that decision was made, the demo started with removal of the old fixtures. We sold and donated everything so nothing ended up in our landfill. We painted, wallpapered, tiled, added a new vanity and toilet, and then we began to add the magic from the Delta Faucet Saylor Collection.
First up was the Delta Faucet Saylor Two Handle Widespread Faucet in Champagne Bronze. This faucet is not only beautiful, it is equipped with the Delta Faucet DIAMOND Seal Technology which has it performing like new for years to come. It was easy to install, everything we needed was in the box. And the Delta Faucet WATERSENSE labelled faucets, like this one, use at least 20% less water than the industry standard. Another win in my book!
Next we installed the Saylor Monitor 17 Shower Trim with In2ition, also in the beautiful Champagne Bronze finish. What I love most about this shower trim is we can use the shower head and handheld shower together or seperately. This integrated dual functionality is a win as you can also change the volume and use the pause button which gives you time when shaving and/or lathering and allows you to easily restart the water without a change in the temperature. This shower trim kit is perfect for showering children or loved ones, even dogs! It also makes cleaning easier. It is backed by Delta’s Lifetime Limited Warranty which gives it a 10/10 in our book!
Now that the main fixtures were installed, it was time to add some beautiful accessories from the Saylor Collection.
We chose this beautiful towel bar, it’s the perfect size and compliments the rest of the bathroom beautifully.
The double robe hooks are not only beautiful but extremely durable, easily holding the weight of a towel and robe while someone is showering.
The toilet roll holder is beautiful and functional, I love that you simply need to lift to change the roll. No separate pieces.
And no detail has been left behind, even the handle on our new toilet was swapped out for one in Champagne Bronze from the Saylor Collection.
This ensuite bathroom renovation was a true labour of love and worth every ounce of hard work. We are so proud of the “after” and cannot thank Delta Faucet Canada enough for helping us make it happen.
